i wanna be the minority

wow! i went to a super-terrific concert last night. greenday may not be my favoritest band ever, but they put on the best show i've been to. some lucky little highschool boys even got to go up on stage and play their instruments while the lead dude sang and then the one that played the guitar got to keep it after they were done. nuts-o. i bet they are having "popular" days at school today. anway - props to greenday for putting on a great show.

I would like to take this opportunity to say that I am proud to follow in the footsteps of my mom and sister in graduating with distinction. Are we smart cookies, or what?

the best of all possible dates

My title is supposed to be somewhat ironic, because we saw a musical of Candide tonight and it's all about living in "the best of all possible worlds."

Anyway, Jason and I had a lovely date tonight. We ate Chinese food, then bought tickets to Candide at 6:30 and had an hour to wait before the show. So we walked down to Hoglund Ballpark (the KU baseball park) and watched KU vs. Texas for about 20-30 minutes--baseball games have free admission for students. Then we went back to Murphy and watched our musical. Sports and a musical, all in one night! I thought it was great.

Oh, and besides that, in the half hour we were at Hoglund, we saw four of the five runs that KU made to win the game. Good timing, eh?

Call me!
