Hi! I don't really know anything fun or exciting to tell you except that you were both in my dream, and so was Grandma, and so was Cassie. It was quite the dream.

brooke--have you been going to the fitness center? I went to a KU Fit class (a free exercise class at the rec center) the other morning called "boot camp" that really was not like boot camp at all but definitely kicked my butt because yesterday my muscles were really sore. I guess that should tell me that I really worked out hard, eh?

Anyway, I think Jason and I are going to a Royals game today assuming that the weather holds up.

hey people.
i was watching scrubs last night and fell asleep while it was on. this means that i was out by 9 o'clock. i guess i was tired. my scrubs came in yesterday - so now i have three pairs and they are all reversible and i don't have to "borrow" from the hospital anymore. good deal, huh? don't know much else. see y'all laters.

I am very impatient about my new glasses (the girl thought they'd be done on monday), especially since this morning I woke up and realized that I forgot to put the solution in with my lenses last night and they dried up. Luckily they were at the end of their three-month wear and I had another pair on hand--the last that we've pre-paid for!

Anyway, i should go to bed because I have to give a tour in the morning. Luckily, I don't have to wake up as early as either of you!!!

i'm not really supposed to be emailing and such right now, but i wanted to say hi. pril, i am anxious to see your new specs. mom- thanks for calling me this morning. when i got to work, tifanny told me the same thing about computers an nebraska furntiture mart being on sale.

i am trying to figure out my perkins loan stuff. there are so many forms and things for my employer to fill out and then since i didn't work for three weeks in april that makes me have to wait one more year to get it all paid off, which isn't a big deal except for the damn paperwork. i called the place and they made me think that i knew what was going on, but then once i got on the internet to download the forms, i was no longer sure. i talked to megan about it this morning and the schpeel (spell???) she got from the loan people was totally different from what they told me. so...who knows.

yes, mother, you need to work on completing your sentences and giving us complete thought pictures. deal?? :)

new glasses!

after much deliberation (as I'm sure you can imagine) I bought new glasses today at the walmart in topeka (the walmart in lawrence doesn't have a vision center)! we were at one walmart forever--and they didn't have the brands we saw in lincoln the other day, so we went to the OTHER walmart, where they had the same brands as the first topeka walmart but I bought some there anyway that I liked. there was much discussion over how much I will wear them and how funky they should be. I was all about funky, while jason thought the more conservative ones were better (we think it's funny that our personalities shine through in even little things like this since he tends toward the more conservative (what he calls "cool") side). He would also like to note that he should be president someday. Anyway, I ended up getting a pair that is pretty darn funky. I hope you like them. I should have them within a week!

hi family. are you two having fun together? angie and i have not been doing much so far in the workworld. i got in my car at 5:46 and got out of my car at 5:56. it was a nice little drive. we will have to check out braeda tomorrow for lunch. you girls should blog me back!!! okay? okay. laters.
