Something to think about

I'm not trying to criticize, here, since I haven't even seen the movie. But do you think this * was a sign?

(I'm mostly joking--but it's interesting!).

*Jason should get credit for finding the article.

andrew carnegie - a delivery service??

wouldn't you know - my car died yesterday and i finished my books yesterday. i will have to find a friend willing to take a trip to the library with me.

i am doing something with laura/aurora tonight and going to a wedding reception with tiffany tomorrow night - both good things because they provide both entertainment and a ride. tiffany and i are calling each other each other's "hot date" and i think we may be scaring celia a little.

al said that if i don't have a car by sunday evening that she can give me a ride to work.

i am a tired girl. i didn't sleep well (or much) wednesday night and you guys know how the "nap" turned out yesterday afternoon...so, i am ready for BED. tiffany went up to draw some blood and i have to wait for her to come back down before i go home. she is taking her break time to give me a ride. nice chickie, huh?

momo - thanks so much for helping me out yesterday. i very much enjoyed the wendy's although i was concerned about you and your chili because the crackers and the spoon were both in the bag that you left with me. hope that you found a way to eat it.

love you dudes. laters.

Thank you, Andrew Carnegie

Thank you, Andrew Carnegie for supporting the wonderful wonderful idea of libraries!

Today I had a successful trip to the library and I am so excited about it that I'm telling everyone I talk to about it.

Things that were waiting for me when I got there (thanks to the online request system):
-Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen DVD
-Avenue Q CD!! It's so great! The second song is called, "What do you do with a B.A. in English?" and the third is "It Sucks to Be Me." I thought these titles might amuse you.

I also checked out:
-Harry Connick Jr.'s Songs I Heard--it has jazz arrangements (and HCJ singing, of course) of songs from little kid movies, namely, The Wizard of Oz, Annie, Mary Poppins, and Willy Wonka.
-3 other CD's for my Rock & Roll class

So... these are my big findings today. I have to read the first three acts of Pericles tonight--and we thought I was done with Shakespeare!

cassie votes for kerry!

hi family.

my first hour of work has gone well and fast - so only 11 more to go. plus, i get to see tiffany in the morning and then i have two nights off! i am ready. i didn't sleep very well today, so hopefully i can catch up a bit on my days (nights) off.

mom, i hope the driving went well and wasn't so "exciting" on the way home as it was on the way there. i just realized that you two probably got to see each other today: for the exchange of the dog. it sounded like she was having a good time in kansas. watch out mom and dave - if cassie spends too much time in lawrence, she might become a democrat!

well, as i find myself talking about the dog and her political preferences, i realize that it might be time for me to go before this really gets out of hand. you can/should call me - both of you. k? if i miss you, i'll call you back.

love ya, brookie-wookie the little woman
