almost time for new furniture

pril - do you know when you will be coming home - i think mom will be calling you and asking you the same thing, but still i want to know. we are having steak, mashed potatoes, grilled onions, and corn on the cob for supper. is that a big enough incentive for you coming home earlier than you might otherwise??? i talked to dad this morning and he doesn't know for sure about what time he will be coming to lincoln - it might be after lunch. he said he would call in the morning and let us know - but maybe we could make an extra trip with my car if that is the case and/or we could run to target/home depot, etc. it feels like i am going to be here forever - i think it is my anxiousness for the day to be over...but i know time will pass. hope your fridays are peachy. love, brooke

pril - i made it back. i stopped and got my silverware at wal-mart and then met mom at linen's and things - i bought a duvet cover that is a tannish color. i wanted a more colorful one, but couldn't find a color that i loved and figured this way i could change my color schemes a little easier. it is a soft duvet cover - 600 thread count! it was on sale from 70 to 40. so i was happy. still need to go back to target and get the sheets and then find some colorful pillowcases or some fabric to make some pillows or some such nonsense.
how was your afternoon? how is jason? did you get an email to the internship lady? jessica's car had something wrong with it on her way to kc the other day and she was in lawrence for an hour and a half - so she was mad that i had not let her know i was going to be there. naughty friend.

brooke has arrived here safely and I e-mailed you the tofu recipe you have wanted for so long. I hope it is a healthy recipe because man, it is good. Especially the rice.
