Checks

Just when I started to think that maybe, by some freak miracle, various law schools were LYING about charging application fees (maybe they just have you write checks so that they know you're serious about them?), Columbia finally cashed my check. Still waiting on Michigan. I mailed both of those out a while ago.

My landlords STILL have not cashed my rent check, however! We wrote checks on February 1. Buggers!

i am awake and feeling in a productive mood - have been cleaning and such already. this is not congruent with my normal moods, but i'm going with it since it seems to be producing a cleaner house.

al, cindy, and i went to the starlite lunge last night and each had a drink - but we were all pretty tired and it wasn't super-exciting. i had my first mojito. actually, only half of it. it tasted good, but was STRONG.

time to try to buy some green day tickets.
