the best of all possible dates

My title is supposed to be somewhat ironic, because we saw a musical of Candide tonight and it's all about living in "the best of all possible worlds."

Anyway, Jason and I had a lovely date tonight. We ate Chinese food, then bought tickets to Candide at 6:30 and had an hour to wait before the show. So we walked down to Hoglund Ballpark (the KU baseball park) and watched KU vs. Texas for about 20-30 minutes--baseball games have free admission for students. Then we went back to Murphy and watched our musical. Sports and a musical, all in one night! I thought it was great.

Oh, and besides that, in the half hour we were at Hoglund, we saw four of the five runs that KU made to win the game. Good timing, eh?

Call me!

eight and a half

yep. i slept well today. 8 1/2 hours. thank goodness, because i was one tired chickie by the time i got home this morning.
we (some people at work, including myself) ordered lazlo's take-out last night and that was a tasty treat. now it is time for lunch/tv/shower and i will be back on my way to work for one more night.
