If you type "cassie is our dog" in google in quotes the site does come up! I think I'll try to put a hit counter on here to look at our viewing statistics (though I can't imagine that someone would type "cassie is our dog" into google. who knows).

terrible poetry!

cassie is a grreat dog and other funny things

i thought i'd do a little test to see how likely it would be for someone to come upon our blog by accident. so i went to some search engines and first i typed in karen brooke and april and then cassie is our dog. and mom - i assure you that people (i.e. grandma) will not be reading our blog unless we specifically tell them the address.
but the great thing i learned is that if you type "cassie is our dog" into yahoo.com you come up with all kinds of funny web pages. it doesn't work quite so well with google. i encourage you both to try this. it cracked me up.

Recipe, please

I would greatly enjoy and appreciate it if you would send me a recipe for those enchiladas you were making (assuming they were good!). I myself have somewhat resigned to easier recipes for the moment (today I bought macaroni and cheese shaped like dinosaurs at the grocery store).

I also want to see grandma's poem! Did you know that she has a whole book of them taped together?

hi.
a good morning/early afternoon so far. i took a read, took a nap, went to hobby lobby, the post office (mary cassat stamps!), and the library. i must say that these things suit me well.
i have enchiladas in the oven - so a good lunch is also on its way. april - i asked mom if she tells cassie the little story every morning before she goes to work and she said that she doesn't remember the story, but she does tell her that she loves her and misses her. poor cassie, her own mother doesn't know the important things to tell her!
mom- you've got half of it down so i'll tell you the rest. and- since it's only four lines long, i think you can learn it.
we love you. we miss you. we'll be back. you be good.
pril l- you gotta see grandma's latest poem. terrible! mom - you should post it on here for her to see.
these are the things that i know and sadly little else.

I hope that the new lady (who isn't really new anymore--I think she started in June) is there so that I can meet her.
