a little of this a little of that

hello party people.

jess just called with dates for a wedding shower and it looks like it is going to be at the end of february or beginning of march - so al and i need to get our butts in gear.

i don't think i know anything overwhelmingly exciting - i am going to drag out all my scrapbook stuff and make a little mess. :) messes seem to be my thing.

you should both be excited because tomorrow is friday. (it is my "monday" so i am not so excited, but whatcha gonna do?)

g'morning/g'afternoon

it is 2pm and i just got up. pretty good, especially considering that i don't have to work tonight.

thanks again for the easy mac and mail and such the other night, mom. it was good to see you guys and made my night more fun.

radious and i are going to "shark tale" at 5pm. it is at the starship 9. we haven't been to a movie together, so i think it will be kinda fun. it will be interesting to see how much/how loudly she talks during the movie and if she will be able to sit still for that long. :)

pril - thanks for the postcard! it is so pretty on my wall and was a fun surprise

happy monday. talk to y'all later.

My Turn

Hello, friends, I am glad that we are trying to get back to blogging. While I was checking the weather online (which I do less frequently right now than I will in a few months, when the tornados start up again), I decided to look up temperatures in places I could possibly live next year. In Seattle, it's 57 and rainy. In Los Angeles, it's a balmy 69. In Ann Arbor, Michigan, the temperature is currently hovering around 6 degrees. Right here in Kansas it's 31.

Anyway, I should get back to my reading. I'm learning about Romantic-era England, which is interesting if not exciting. I don't have anything too fun to report for the day--but maybe I will tomorrow! I get to go to my London class tomorrow afternoon.
