dogs instead of homework

I found www.hua.org today, and I've been looking at dogs rather than doing my homework. Some of the dogs' pictures made me laugh out loud--they're adorable!

Today I feel like moving to Lincoln or Seattle and setting up with a little friend of my own.

Hooo-Hoooooooo

Grandma didn't call me a Night Owl for nothin', kids! It's 3am and I'm still going strong on this paper for my British Writers class. Don't worry, I don't have to wake up until 10. I'll be fine.

One more paragraph before bed!

LOL

I like the ding-dong story, you ding-dong.

my story

al and i made plans to meet at the scrapbook store at three this afternoon.

i got there, parked next to al's car and went into the store. the door made the little "ding-dong" sound that doors at public places sometimes make. a girl was standing right inside the door - with her back to me - and i thought it was al and so i went up behind her and said "ding-dong." she turned around and was NOT al. i started laughing and aplogized and told her i had thought she was someone else. then i went and found al and told her the story and she didn't believe me. because - really - who would go up to somebody and just say "ding-dong?"

me. that's who. maybe i need to pay a little closer attention to what my best friend looks like????

i'm still laughing.

a request and a story

request:
I would like some help sorting through law school paperwork when you are in town, if it isn't too much trouble. I just want to make sure I don't miss any deadlines or anything.

story:
Sunday night I was at the library with Jason, and I checked out a library laptop to use while we were there. We were sitting across a table from each other, each working on our laptops, when he reached over and unplugged my mouse when I wasn't looking. So when I reached for the mouse and it didn't respond on screen, I couldn't figure it out (but, of course, had no idea that he was in on it). I kept moving the mouse around on the table frantically, and then I picked it up and looked at the bottom, and then I tried moving it around again... and then I saw him chuckling from across the table and he picked up my unplugged cord. He thinks he's so funny! He said the best part was when I picked it up and looked at it, and then tried it again. As if that would somehow help!
