A modest proposal

Here's my proposal:

Let's ban all political commentary from this blog and keep it fun between the family! I'm not discouraging political dialogue--but I think we could express ourselves better if we do it in person or on the phone, not in a semi-permanent text online format.

I've edited my comments from my most recent post to reflect this proposal. If anyone else would like to edit their posts, all you have to do is go to the "edit posts" link under the larger Posting tab (see above). Please keep edits to your own posts only.

Feelings about this? I know it would make me feel better.
